1. About MoneyMart Asia
MoneyMart Asia (“MMA”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is operated by MMA FINTECH SDN. BHD. (202501012308 / 1613722-W), a company registered in Malaysia. MoneyMart Asia provides a digital platform that helps users understand, explore and access financial solutions, including by connecting eligible users with participating licensed lenders and other financial service providers. MoneyMart Asia is not a lender and does not make lending or credit approval decisions.
2. Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using the MoneyMart Asia website, platform, tools or services, you agree to these Terms of Use and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements under Malaysian law to use services requiring an application or account. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our services.
3. Our Services
MoneyMart Asia may provide services including:
financial information, educational content and tools;
application and eligibility information;
matching or connecting users with participating lenders or financial service providers;
access to financial products, services or offers; and
other financial solutions or services introduced by MoneyMart Asia from time to time.
Submitting an application does not guarantee that you will receive an offer or that any application will be approved. All lending decisions, eligibility requirements, rates, fees, terms and final approvals are determined independently by the relevant lender or financial service provider. MoneyMart Asia may add, remove, suspend or modify services, participating partners or platform features from time to time.
4. Information You Provide
You agree to provide information that is accurate, complete and current. Where you submit information for an application, enquiry or other service, you authorise MoneyMart Asia to process that information for the purposes described at the point of collection and in our Privacy Policy, including where applicable to facilitate matching, applications and communications with relevant participating partners. Providing false, misleading or fraudulent information may result in suspension or termination of access to our services.
5. Offers, Communications and Future Services
MoneyMart Asia may, subject to applicable law and your communication or marketing preferences, inform you about:
financial products or services that may be relevant to you;
offers from existing or newly participating licensed lenders or financial service providers;
new MoneyMart Asia services, tools or features;
educational content and financial information; and
promotions or other relevant opportunities.
Where required, marketing communications will be sent in accordance with your consent and communication preferences. You may withdraw or change your marketing preferences in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the instructions provided in our communications.
6. Privacy and Personal Data
MoneyMart Asia processes personal data in accordance with applicable Malaysian data protection laws and our Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy explains the types of information we may collect, how it may be used, circumstances in which it may be disclosed to participating lenders, service providers or other authorised parties, how long it may be retained, and the choices and rights available to you. Use of personal data for direct marketing is also subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements. The Malaysian PDPA applies to personal-data processing connected with commercial transactions, and users have rights including access, correction, withdrawal of consent and prevention of processing for direct marketing.
7. Fees
There are currently no fees charged by MoneyMart Asia to users for submitting an application through our platform. Any fees, charges, interest or other costs associated with a financial product are determined by the relevant provider and should be reviewed carefully before accepting an offer. MoneyMart Asia will never require an upfront payment simply to submit a financing application through our platform.
8. User Responsibilities
You must not:
provide false, misleading or fraudulent information;
impersonate another person;
use MoneyMart Asia for unlawful or unauthorised purposes;
interfere with the security or operation of our systems;
attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems or data; or
misuse information, content or services provided through the platform.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and login credentials, where applicable.
9. Financial Information and Tools
Content, calculators, estimates, guides and other information provided by MoneyMart Asia are intended for general informational and educational purposes. Calculator results and estimates are illustrative and may differ from actual lender assessments, rates, repayments or offers. Nothing provided by MoneyMart Asia constitutes financial, legal, tax or investment advice.
10. Third-Party Providers
MoneyMart Asia may connect you with lenders, financial institutions or other third-party service providers. These parties operate independently from MoneyMart Asia and may have their own eligibility criteria, terms, privacy practices and application processes. MoneyMart Asia does not control or guarantee the availability, approval, pricing, suitability or performance of any third-party product or service.
11. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the MoneyMart Asia name, branding, website content, designs, tools and other materials are owned by or licensed to MMA FINTECH SDN. BHD. They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed or commercially used without our prior written permission, except as permitted by law.
12. Availability and Liability
We aim to keep MoneyMart Asia accurate, secure and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMA FINTECH SDN. BHD. will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from use of, or inability to use, our platform or from decisions made by independent third-party providers. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as MoneyMart Asia, our services or applicable requirements evolve. The latest version will be published on our website with its effective date. Where appropriate, we may also notify users of material changes through our available communication channels.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of MoneyMart Asia will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts, subject to any rights or remedies available under applicable law.
